Hello!

Our death penalty bills have until next Friday to be voted out of committee
or die for this session.  The good news is that SSB 5786 - creating a death
penalty task force - *was* passed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee this
week.  But the bill, which has a "fiscal note", must now be heard in the
Senate Ways and Means Committee.

WE NEED YOU TO CONTACT THESE THREE LEGISLATORS TODAY.  It does not matter
whether you are a constituent of these members or not.

1) REP. BRENDAN WILLIAMS -  (360) 786-7940 - "Please ensure that both the
death penalty task force (HB 1518) and mental illness bills (HB1707) are put
to a vote in House Judiciary ASAP!"

2) REP. PAT LANTZ - (360) 786-7964 - "Please give both the death penalty
task force (HB 1518) and mental illness bills (HB 1707) an executive vote in
your House Judiciary committee!"

3) SEN. MARGARITA PRENTICE - (360) 786-7616 - "Please hear the Death Penalty
Task Force Bill (SB 5786) in your Ways and Means Committee ASAP!"

It would really help if you would call today...or as soon as possible.
