A quick FYI: An interview with nationally known abolitionist Scott Turow
aired on Seattle's KUOW at 9:00AM this morning. If you are interested in
hearing Turow and callers from in and around Seattle you can download the

>From the KUOW website:
Should the death penalty be abolished?
Scott Turow has thought a lot about the subject. Besides being a
best-selling author and attorney, Turow is a current Member of Illinois'
Executive Ethics Commission. From 2002-2004, he served as the Chair of the
Illinois State Appellate Defender's Commission; a state agency that
represents indigent criminal defendants in their appeals. In 2000, Illinois
Governor George Ryan appointed Turow to a Commission designed to explore
capital punishment system reform. He joins us to share his thoughts and hear
yours.
Scott Turow is author of seven bestselling novels about the law, from
Presumed Innocent to Ordinary Heroes, and of the nonfiction works One L and
Ultimate Punishment. He is also an attorney at law firm of Sonnenschein,
Nath & Rosenthal.
