This is just a quick reminder about two exciting events being held in
Seattle on Saturday, 21 October...

Saturday, October 21
Amnesty International and the Washington Coalition to Abolish the Death
Penalty are proud to sponsor the following events to be held in association
with Amnesty International's annual National Weekend of Faith in Action
Against the Death Penalty. (Flyer attached in PDF format.)
 
1:00PM - THE EXONERATED
Starring Susan Sarandon & Danny Glover
Grand Illusion Theater

Speaking on..."Different Uses of the Bible by Jews and Christians in the
Death Penalty Debate."
University Heights Community Center, Room 110  (Across the street from the
Grand Illusion Theater.)
Dr. Kay is an Associate Profession of Social and Religious Ethics at the
University of Puget Sound.  She is also the author of, Murdering Myths: The
Story Behind the Death Penalty."
 
All people of faith and those with different perspectives on the death
penalty are welcome.
 
Both events are FREE OF CHARGE.  Donations will gladly be accepted.
