[WCADP-list] Volunteers Needed in Tacoma This Weekend: 29 & 30 July

We need your help!
 
WHAT:    Volunteer at Tacoma's Ethnic Fest
 
WHEN:    Saturday, 29 July and Sunday, 30 July (Shifts are available 11:00AM
to 3:00PM or 4:00PM to 7:00PM)
 
WHERE:   Wright Park, 6th Ave. at S. Yakima Avenue, in Tacoma

WHY:    This is a great opportunity to help educate the public about the
death penalty.  (Educational handouts are provided.)
  
Ethnic Fest has celebrated Pierce County's rich cultural and ethnic
diversity since 1986.  The event attracted over 50,000 visitors last year.
They have performers from all over the globe and this year looks to be an
exciting event!  The festival features the many cultures and ethnic groups
that make Pierce County a great place to live.  At Ethnic Fest you can enjoy
the performing arts, visual arts, crafts, dancing, information and foods
representing cultures from around the globe.  With special events just for
kids, it's great (free) family entertainment!
