Um. It wasn't a matter of bothering to look at the facts, it was being
astounded at the statement, which contradicted everything we'd learned since
kindergarten. Sorry if that wasn't obvious.
Thought maybe there was something there that we had missed entirely; after
all, it's the Discovery Channel: They wouldn't lie to us, would they?
