Yes, Rik and Bryan,

Roberts seems to see himself as a super-villain... the likes of James Bond
or Indiana Jones... Unfortunately he lacks a set of morals to balance his
undeniable intelligence.
He sauced-up his part of the story and throws some mud at his former
girlfriend who moved on. 
It's rather pathetic actually. I almost feel sorry for the guy... planning a
master coup and winding up empty handed. Almost, mind you ;-)))
