I've seen hiking maps for switzerland that actually have a symbol in
the legend (a cluster of quartz crystals) for Geological Interest. I
was in Davos (not for the economic summit) in the Graubuenden area of
Switzerland and there was one posted in the lobby. I didn't notice
until the last day there was a hike with this symbol one rail station
away at Davos Monstein. I found this link for the Geology Education
Trail the map was referring to:

http://www.myswitzerland.com/en.cfm/home/summervacations/offer.cfm?category=Home_Summer&subcat=Schluchten&id=18207

I haven't been on the trail. The area is very scenic, but so is the
rest of the Alps. My point is, your colleague might look at hiking
maps for areas she is interested in.

I'm sorry I don't know the publisher of the specific map I was
looking at, but I took a photo on the way out and didn't notice that
it focused on the glass, not the map, until later.

If she doesn't hike, in the same area there is the "slowest fast
train in the world," the Glacier Express. It goes slowly enough to
actually see the scenery through some fantastic mountains. The whole
trip goes over 291 bridges (great for views). See

Hope it helps.

Jeff
