That 's not logical, Gene.
Aragonite can absorb uranyl, calcium doesn't (I don't know if it even can).
More likely there are some thin layers of uranyl bearing hyalite
incorporated in the calcite (if it is that).
That would explain the green fluorescence.
I think this may need confirmation from a professional but I'm pretty
sure...
