Speaking of unknowns...

My friend with the friend in Afghanistan sent my this picture of a crystal
the guy picked up:

The color is right for aquamarine, but the termination looks wrong... more
like topaz.  It doesn't have that barrel shape that all the Afghani aquas
I've seen have.
