[Rockhounds] Boodle Lane

Older collectors may remember a famous collector by the name of Boodle Lane, 
who was one of the most active collectors, dealers and traders in the 
country in the 40's and 50's. He had a part of every major find and sale of 
minerals of his times.

I recently got a photo of him in a huge dissolution cave of a lead mine in 
the Tri-State area, taken in the 40's, most likely. I couldn't find out what 
happened to these Calcite crystals, but the mine and all other mines in that 
famous district are long gone.

he was a remarkable collector; the best known of his time, and maybe of all
