Diamond Pacific agreed to let us put the Genie manual online. You can find it here:

http://rockhounds.ning.com/profiles/blogs/diamond-pacific-genie-manual

I posted it under a Trip Report. The "Member" for this trip report is "Documents". (These were all called blogs before I changed them to Trip Reports - Ning lets ya do that - so pretend that "Documents" went on a rockhounding trip somewhere...um.) If I have anything else to post for general distribution like this, I will post it there.

A couple of notes for new signups:

--You can get rid of the ugly pastel green box in the middle of your page (shown only to new members) by clicking the x on it in the upper right corner.
--When you upload a profile picture, if it's not square, Ning will crop it. So if it's vertical, it'll chop of top and bottom; if it's horizontal, it'll chop off right and left.

13 real members, 2 fake ones, 105 pictures (thanks Axel and Kris) so far. Welcomes to Tom Corson, J.B. Murowchick and Steve Sellepack.(And to the other members who joined before that. Sorry, I've been remiss...though I won't be announcing every member. Rockhounds at lists.drizzle.com has something like 500 members. It'd get...tedious.)

When I have the new website up, I will be able to "feed" activity from this site to our list website, and vice versa. Ought to be a good mix.

I'm adding live chat later tonight.

Julie
