[Rockhounds] Color of Minerals

Hello 

I was wondering if someone could help me with question. It might sound weird, but here it goes. Is there any rock, gem or mineral that you would cut in a rock saw that would make the oil go and green sage color. I have never come across this in all the years I have been cutting. This one is stumping me. Any way that the oil would oxide itself????????? Hope someone can help. The only thing I can think of is someone was careless and added something to the oil, trying to casue damage Thanks for your help
