[Rockhounds] World's 'oldest' spider web found

Great find, Kreigh.
Although... two threads aren't a web yet and there are other animals (worms,
caterpillars and various other insect larvae) that produce silk.
Was there even a niche for spiders to occupy? 
Man has yet to appear on the stage of evolution in the mid-cretaceous  so
there were  no women  to scare... What else is the purpose of spiders?
