[Rockhounds] [ADMIN] About the rockhounds website.

That's a really good idea; I'll see if I can fit it in. (It's an ASP
server, among other things, so I could toss that into some sort of DB)

I also want to finally post, via Google Earth or Google maps the "Where are
the rockhounds" info, and I'd also like to set up a trade system. (John and
I have soooo enjoyed trading...we always feel like we got the best deal
though, makes us feel guilty - :p)

A "Steve" suggested a links page (we do have one of those, but it's
probably wayyyy out of date, so I'll start over) and an Events page for
clubs/meets/trips etc. (He suggested the use of Google Calendar, possibly,
which would be an incredibly quick fix.)I think those are both great ideas.
He tentatively suggested a sales page, but I'll only do that if I can
password protect it and limit it to listmembers only. We'll see.

We also had a list of other rockhounding/fossil/etc. mailing lists, though
it probably needs to be verified at this point.

I want to get the FULL archive that we have online and searchable. (I
forget how far back we have files for, but it's quite a
while...pre-Drizzle, even, I think.)

And, we had a space for a FAQ, but that page never did get off the ground.

Keep 'em coming.

Julie
