Oh, yes, everyone knows about Camp Verde, glauberite crystals and pseudomorphs and all that.? And I should have connected the Verde Valley to Camp Verde.? Now if we have MINERAL STUFF to relate the place to, that helps!? But just "Cottonwood", well, hey, that's just trees.

(obviously, it was more fun to just write back, than to go to their website and look up something about the club)

It's between Phoenix and Flagstaff. Take I17 to Camp Verde, the
intersection with route 260. Go west on 260 about 15 miles to
Cottonwood.
