Hi all,
Some time ago my friend Prof. Dr René Van Tassel (to whom the mineral
species vantasselite is named), who is more than 90 years old (I will keep
his exact age secret), but still very active in mineralogy (!), asked me if
I could find somewhere one or more photos of desert roses (gypsum roses) IN
SITU (whatever locality).
If someone could provide me with a photo of such desert roses, perhaps half
buried in the sand he would do me a big favor.
He would just like to see how that looks like.
No photos of desert roses as such needed, only if they are still in their
natural environment.
Thanks and best regards,
Rik DILLEN
