[Rockhounds] Delaney Rim, Wyoming, status

Anyone on the list been up to Delaney Rim, Wyoming, in the last few
years?  Please reply to me directly or on-list as appropriate.

It's been a few years since I was last there.  I am planning a club trip
up there later this summer (mostly for turitella and stromatolite
agate).  There's long been a "no public access" sign at the start of the
grade up the hill, that everyone ignores, probably because it's all
county roads and a checkerboard of public/private land.  Someone
recently told me the area really is closed -- they think.  I can't find
any info about that on-line...  Anyone here know for sure?
