Hi list,
My partner gifted me with a subscription to Rock & Gem this
B-Day, and in the latest issue, Kenneth Rohn mentioned Geocommunicator.
Having never heard of this Web based service, I looked it up and found what
looks like an extremely useful resource. I'd like to know if any of you have
used this service, and what you think of it.
If you're unfamiliar with it here's the link:

I'm playing with the features right now, and it looks like it's a really
useful tool for rockhounds & prospectors. Please let us know your opinion,
especially if it's making a positive difference for you.
I've had a low opinion of the punitive & exclusionary policies that have
been forced upon the BLM as a professional organization, but always the
highest regard for BLM field personnel. If this is the direction that the
service orientation of the BLM & Forest Service are headed, "HURRAY!"
It's obvious that the folks on the front lines are making a difference.
Regards,
Kris
