[Rockhounds] Need help with Mineral ID

Axel,
I used a 35 watt SW lamp on it and it glows medium strong in the pink
crystal area. A LW lamp does nothing at all. It was handed to me by a young
couple who inherited it from their grandfather (mineral collector) and they
have no idea where it came from or how long ago he acquired it. I'm not sure
I have the equipment to get down into the specimen and isolate a separate
image of the individual crystals. It would be nice to have had a catalogue
to refer to but that isn't possible. I still like the presentation it has
though; It's just lovely I think!
