Darryl,
I have not yet received my hardcopy of the latest ''Mini Miners
Monthly', but your online link is a joy to read. I thank you again for
a great publication!
My childhood Mentor as a Rockhound was Geologist Dr. Mary Jane Dockery.
I am honored to know her as a friend after these many years; I dream
of discovering a new mineral and naming it after her. Her inspiration
has given me great joy.
Too many women drop out of science due to cultural bias. I am
personally fighting the problem with my gifted youngest daughter.
Culture be damned! Men and Women can contribute as equals!.
Thank you for noticing the elephant in the living room.
