[Rockhounds] Spam on list

In most Belgian cities you can buy a sticker which says "no unsolicited
mail!". The fact that you buy those at City Hall means that they are
official! If you stick that on your mailbox, the Postman wouldn't dream of
slipping any unsolicited mail into your mailbox. Alas, there are always
some marginal companies that will employ marginal people for the sole
purpose of bypassing this clever sticker.
As a result I find my mailbox filled with pamphlets and advertisements for
poker sites, obscure churches, clairvoyants, and what have you. For a few
bucks an hour these marginals stroll around in city blocks with baby buggies
filled with brochures. If I catch them in the act I throw my cat at them,
set them on fire, force-feed them their pamphlets and explain to them what
"no unsolicited mail" means. It doesn't help, they keep coming back.

Spam should be considered a crime against both privacy and the
environment...

Cheers
