Jim,

Julie and I live in Santa, a few miles from Emerald Creek. We haven't been 
there since they've changed to their new format. We used to enjoy wallowing 
waist-deep in the creek digging our own holes for garnet. Now they've 
switched to a tailings pile due to water quality issues. You can check it

Be sure to give us a hoot if you come. We'll join you if we can although 
we'll be out of town for a week starting 7/24.
