[Rockhounds] Jewelry Marking Question

Hope this is not too off topic...

A relative called me and said that she has a bracelet that she believes to be silver.  She said that it has lettering that reads "PLAN 9.25"  

Would anyone know what the lettering means?

(I asked specifically if that was 92.5 or .925, but she says it is 9.25)
