[Rockhounds] Winter Blah's Pop Quiz - What Was The Last
Specimen Added To Your Collection?

Dave,
I thought that was you. I talked to you last year
about collecting in WV. Since then I found some
trilobites back in Smoke Hole Canyon (Smoke Hole Rd, Pendelton Co., WV).
I was actually standing in front of your booth
when I overheard someone wondering aloud if
Potomac Marble would take a good polish. I was
able to pull a cabochon out of my bag that I had
just made that day between teaching kids. I
hadn't heard about gold. Now I'll have to look
over my samples again, including the ones in my yard.
I'll be sure to stop by again this year. The
Montgomery Co (MD) club is my local club. I
bought fluorescents from you last year. For
anyone who is wondering, the club link is
http://www.glmsmc.com/ and the show is 21-22 March.
Both the trilobites and the Potomac Marble will
be in our "Rocks Anyone Can Collect" display.
In another coincidence the presentation at the
club meeting on Monday will be on Fluorescents.
