Alan,
I suppose I'll really get flamed for this, but, I suppose in the larger
part I completely agree with you. While if I had the choice to have, or
not have, the supplement I would choose to have it. But it does seem to
make a strong case ( with the exception of a few examples ) for the fact
that a "world class" collection contains only approximately 10 species,
but of the highest quality, and with very little doubt, must contain a
sweet home rhodochrosite.
Now if I had my choice of this, or a pictorial essay on the best self
collected, and rarest speices collection and a bio of these folks, I
would choose the latter...
