[Rockhounds] Yellow Cat Flat, Utah, recent visit

I also have buckets of agates, petrified wood and geodes. Mostly
collected in my younger days but also gotten at estate sales to relieve
many a poor widow of such burdens that they have lived with for many
years. I was careful to say "anything that I display I only need one
of" not that I may cut. I am afraid I am not as frugal and pious as you
were led to believe. lol

I do take less cutting material home than I used to and I give a lot
away to younger club members that use it and don't have the time or
money to go into the field and collect. I give a lot of scraps from
making spheres away. I think we all collect too much and need to cut
down. Let your conscience be your guide. Also give it away or sell it
before the heirs have to deal with it.

My husband has buckets and buckets of Jasper, Petrified wood and Geodes. I love to go on our treasure hunts but feel as though we should be more picky with our take homes. It is one of our routine arguments...."Get some of these rocks cleared out!"
