Hi Tom,
? I do body work on cars and bikes and the way I staighten metal is with a dolly(a heavy beveled and flat piece of steel that you put on one side of the repair and gently tap it flat with a shrinking hammer.? This type of hammer has a pretty flat surface with a pick side to stretch and pull the metal in directions with the taps.? Once metal is stretched or bent it is hard to get it perfect.? Maybe this will get it back in line enough for you so it wont wobble enough to be dangerous.? You may not want to?heat the metal to repair it.? Seems to me that may weaken or mess with the integrity of the metal to make it come apart.? Could make a bad day.
? Good luck,
? Kevin

Subject: [Rockhounds] Diamond Saw Blade Repair
I recently acquired a used 18" rock saw at the best of prices.? The blade on the
saw is not straight, slightly bent.? Does anyone know where (or how on my own) I
can get the blade straightened?
?
Thanks for your help,
?
Tom
