For those who can't do without their Windows systems, the Clam
antivirus is available for you, too. In fact, there's a portable
version that you can install on a memory stick and use on all your
computers. Check out http://portableapps.com/ for this and a host of
other portable software.

Another well regarded anti-virus and firewall package is Comodo. Free
for personal use. http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/
