Especially when you 're looking through a camera's view finder you tend to
keep your head tilted. That way the reflected UV grazes over the rim of your
glasses.
I also use small reflectors in polished aluminium to get highlights... You
really have to mind where they're pointing at!
I learned to wear gloves since Don (other Don, the Pacific one) shipped me
the TripleBright SW.
I just heard from a guy who has mysterious black spots on otherwise
marvellously fluorescent meionite. They are not visible in daylight. Turns
out that he wanted to play it smart and rubbed his hands in with
sun-blocking lotion. I'm afraid those black spots are forever... ;-)))
