[Rockhounds] AD - benefit mineral auction for R&M and MR

I'd like to pass on a note about the annual auction conducted via John Veevart's Trinity Minerals website, of specimens reserved from those donated for the live auctions in Tucson, to be auctioned online to benefit these two mineral magazines.? Please consider taking a look!? --- Pete Modreski


"This is a note to let you know that a benefit auction for the two of the most
prominent periodicals in our hobby (Rocks & Minerals and The Mineralogical
Record) will start at 9:00 AM PDT today. There are 37 items for your
consideration consisting of minerals, gemstones and artwork in all.

The items on the auction were selected from donations offered by mineral dealers
at the Tucson Show. The items for the benefit of the Mineralogical Record are
denoted as such. The rest are for Rocks & Minerals.  95% of the gross sales will
be sent directly to the magazines with only 5% retained for admin costs on my
end.

Jesse Fisher of UK Mining Ventures (ukminingventures.com) has generously donated
his time to help with this effort also. 

The auction will start to close on April 9 at 6:00 PM PDT.
