(I haven't had a chance to catch up on mail from the List; just got back  
from New Hampshire; had a great time.)
 
I'd be interested in seeing a picture of that Table Mtn specimen.   Actually, 
natrolite is extremely uncommon there, so that may not be natrolite;  and, 
apophyllite there usually occurs as just one single, large crystal, in a  vug, a 
late mineral often on top of other things.  If there's a lot of it,  perhaps 
it's not apophyllite, either.  Hmmm...  But of course, it  could be...every 
rock and every vug, is different!
