And probably different alcohols altogether. If it makes methanol, that
process needs to be suppressed.
Somewhat less dangerous is isopropanol, the alcohol that causes SEVERE
hangover and headaches.

There is a Belgian beer called "Lambic" (or lambik) that is made by
spontaneous fermentation. It's a rather acidic thirst-quencher and the basis
for making geuze (another Belgian goodie).

Yes. Absolutely. Belgians were the founding fathers of dinosaurism.
