Yes, I would be interested in the Leucite chrystals.  If you have  any 
suggested directions to locations you felt were good, that would be  great.  I'll 
take a look at the area on GoogleEarth also.
 
Are you familiar with the Calcite formations that Larry referred to?   Those 
sound cool also.

Eric: I don't know if Leucite is of interest to  you.  However, it can be 
found
in many areas around Rome.  On  my last trip to Rome I picked up some
nice crystals in the hills north of  Bracciano ( Lasio ).
