Eric: There is a locality at Montalto Di Castro, in Lazio near Rome which 
produces very nice yellow/green hemispheres of secondary mineralization of 
Calcite on basalt there. I don't know how accessible this is for collectors, 
you would have to ask locally. If you are interested in seeing a photograph 
of one of these, contact me off-list.
