This is weird. My son fell asleep last evening with his laptop on his lap
with a spreadsheet open. He woke up this morning and his images on his
monitor screen are upside down. He restarted in safe mode and the monitor
was correct but after restarting the computer the images are upside down
again.

See if this helps, First try This, works with Windows XP. You can change the
Direction of your screen any way you want to.
Ctrl, Alt and Arrows up,down, left or right for the direction you prefer.
You can use this when you come across an image on he web that is not upright
and want to view it without using a photo program. Also try>>>
To stop it happening again right-click on an empty area on the desktop click
on 'properties' then on the 'settings' tab followed by the 'Advanced'
button. On here there is a tab relating to graphics, which should says
'Intel(R) Extreme Graphics' click on the tab then on the 'Graphics
properties' button, choose the 'rotation' tab and remove the tick from the
'Enable Rotation' - remember to click 'apply'.
