I just got back from a field tripto Morinci with the Deming club lots of fun
fun specimens and a little cutting material. On the way abck I stopped at
Benny Fenns rock shop and quick stop. Anyway benney owns the claim and was
the miner of the Mexican yellow labradorite we had a long talk he had been
selling to the chinese. ended up not selling to them because they were less
than honest. all the way all the way around. he now sell it to other
people who call it what it is yellow labadorite. By the way the mine is
closed as Mexico is not safe for Americans His son ran the mine and one
weekend a worker was shot on his daay off and the sone was pulled back home
So if you want some don't wait. Steve Keep on Rockin
