[Rockhounds] Why are we still living in the Iron Age???!

It used to be called gunnite or gunite. That term now usually refers 
to a type of shotcrete. Now there are quite a few brands of 
"soundless chemical demolition agents" (SCDAs) / "non-explosive 
demolition agents" (NEDAs) out there: Da-mite, Crackamite (I kid you 
not), Bristar, Fractag, RockFrac, Dexpan, etc. I have Dexpan; it is 
relatively fast (less than an hour) and effective. It's also easy to 
get in small quantities.

I have also used a hydraulic splitter ($$$) and am impressed.
