[Rockhounds] Dino Bone Question

I purchased some dino bone from the late Ernie Shirley,of Hanksville, UT, about 8-9 years ago.  I have several slabs from end cuts.  Can I sell them?  And no I have no idea where the reciept is.  Have moved a least 5 times since then.  I know that you can not collect bone from public land.  I also have a few pieces collected from privite land but do not want to sell any of that.
