[Rockhounds] Hello from Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA)

Hello. I'm new to the list and this is my first post.

I'm James R. Martin. I live in Santa Fe, NM, and I've
joined this list in large part because I'd like to
talk with people in my state, region and/or town. I'm
open to talking with others, of course. But my main
interest is in discussing rockhounding (etc.) in my
"neck of the woods".

I've always liked rocks and minerals--and fossils--,
but never really pursued rockhounding much. Recently,
however, I have picked up some guidebooks for
rockhounds.... (more later)
