Hello,
in the area aroun Usti nad Labem there are many localities known for zeolites.
Many of them are of historical interest only, nice papers and maps by HIBSCH.
It should be worth to look for active basalt quarries etc. The most obvious one
is in Usti itself, Marianska quarry. It may be difficult to gain access if you
are not speaking Czech language - or even better Russian as many guards come
from countries to the east (I visited three years ago).
Don't miss the National Museum in Prague. There you will see the best mineral
specimens during your trip, I guess.
Regards,
Jürgen
