You must have read or browsed that site much more intensively than I did, Don, because I can't find anything on there about rocks glowing or not glowing in the dark; I just re-browsed throught his last year's postings, I don't see anything about that....

Just checked it out real quick... I wonder about the credibility of the site's author when he posts comments like this:

What this guy think he was seeing when they were demonstrating all those fluorescent minerals? I cannot imagine an experienced mineral collector who has not at least heard of the concept of fluorescence and phosphorescence. If he is trying to say something else, then he is not getting his point across, which is just as bad.
Sounds like this fellow needs to get his own act together before he passes judgement on others.
