[Rockhounds] Cleaning Galena, Help?

Hey everybody.  I have some nice Galena crystals that have an  oxidized 
coating i need off.  It's a dull grey like your tire weights have  after a few 
thousand miles.  This stuff is beautiful underneath.  Any  suggestions?
