Hi:
I saw your question about core drilling into rock. I advise finding a tool rental shop patronized by the construction industry folks. Contractors often need high-end tools that are too expensive to buy for use every couple of years, so they rent the tool they need.
When I needed to cut into a block wall filled with concrete, I rented a diamond saw powered by hydraulic lines from a powerful gas-engine pump. They measure the diamond blade when you rent the tool(s) and charge both by the day and the mm of wear on the (expensive) diamond blade.
Good luck!
