I've cleaned rust stains off of Prehnite with Iron Out, didn't harm it. Acids will harm it though.

Thanks, Don.  Don't know exactly what they are, but that seems like a  
safe thing to try.  Unlike Super IronOut, Waller Solution, and HCl,  
all of which I think will attack prehnite.
