We often need to show things that need bending the laws of optics our way
;-)))
I have no problem with that.
I do have a problem with putting heavily doctored photos of specimens on
websites. Some of these photos show so many artifacts that result from
sharpening and other repairs that you actually start seeing things that
aren't there.
In most cases the problem is that people want to rival semi professional or
even professional photographers but that they don't want to buy professional
material. Then there's the 200$ camera and PhotoShop to close the gap in
knowledge and equipment.
On the bright side: pictures on the net are getting better...
