Hi, and I'll just be the first one from the List to jump in and say, no hard
feelings but as usual someone has done it again, referred to a mine that
THEY obviously know where it is, but how in the world are the rest of us
supposed to have the faintest idea where the "Beryl Pit" is? A very generic name;
could be in Maine, New Hampshire, Colorado, Timbuktu... but since I know that
93% of the rockhounds who regularly post on the Rockhounds List live within
one state's length of Oregon, I'll guess that it must be in Idaho, 'cause OR
and WA have pretty scarce beryl occurrences, I would imagine...
Cheers & good wishes,
Pete
