Tell me about it!
In hose days I was a professional DJ (DJ Barbarossa) in one of the better
clubs in Antwerp.
I walked around in a 3-part white suit, white borsalino hat, white tie,
wine-red shirt and assorted suede shoes. Eat my dust Travolta...
The only physical rock in my life then was a tiger eye polished in the shape
of a sitting Buddha that hung from a gold chain around my neck. Rock & roll
always made 2/3 of my performance so the white outfit was only camouflage so
that daddies let their daughters come to my club. So yes, white DJ's in the
late 70's invented the concept of "blingbling"... Black rappers just gave it
a name 30 years later ;-))))
Those were the days (LOL)
