That's great! I understand your group had some great collecting last fall.
The Clement Museum really benefits from club trips so keep up the good work.
I'll be heading down there about 2 weeks before your club to help Bill
explore some untapped mine dumps with a track hoe! I'll try to post a report
to the list. I'm also leading a trip throughout the fluorspar district as
post-conference field trip connected with the Geological Society of America
NC meeting in Evansville in late April. I'll talk to Don Hastie about moving
fluorite from their property to other sites for collector access. The
Hastie's do not like visitors, so please leave them alone! It is my goal to
work with them to develop other options to so collectors can gain access to
their beautiful crystals.
