BTW the lunar eclipse is full right now!
We just had a club presentation by a university professor on recently discovered plant fossils of the triassic period in northern China. The locals have been selling lots of these, and National Geographic funded a group to verify the location the fossils are being found, and also that they are authentic. One very interesting group of plants had previously only been found in the southern hemisphere. I hesitate a bit at saying too much as this prof is a friend and he intends to go back. But I am surprised some of the specimens from there were not shown in Tucson. May be because the local entrepreneurs' activities are not exactly sanctioned by the Chinese government.
