[Rockhounds] NO BATHROOM TIME

I'm definitely not an expert, but I don't think that's true. I think it was
the extremely low sodium levels in her body from drinking so much water.
After the contest, I'm sure she immediately urinated, but her sodium was
still way too low. Maybe if she ate a little bit of salt while drinking all
of that water, maybe she would've lived in the same situation. I don't
know. I'm not a doctor, but from what I've read, too much water and not
enough sodium will swell your brain. That can cause headaches and even
death. Also, our bodies need electrolytes for our hearts to stay in rhythm
(the electrical impulses require electrolytes), for our nervous system to
work properly and for all of our cells to do what they need to do, and
electrolytes come mainly from salt that we ingest. So if your sodium levels
are dangerously low (for whatever reason), your heart will not beat
correctly and you could die.
Regards,
Bob

That lady died because she was not allowed to urinate ever, that was part of
the contest as well.
?
If she had been allowed?to urinate, she would not have died -

A radio show in the US in Jan 07, had a contest for a game machine and
object was to see how much water one could drink without going to the
bathroom. The winner died. http://www.nbc11.com/news/10762819/detail.html?
